Now when people think of electric vehicles, their minds typically jump to Tesla. But Elon Musk’s company now has a lot more EV competition coming from all areas of the globe and now the old school US auto companies like GM and Ford have a clear EV transformation strategy mapped out and the message from the auto giants is clear.
While the economy is in a period of uncertainty and costs are being scrutinized more closely as inflation pinches consumers and influences purchase decisions, GM is stating they are focused on core objectives, and for GM right now, it is to work on the transformation of the industry to EVs.
GM is determined to claim its share as almost all new and legacy automakers are racing to introduce their own EVs.
