Downunder we may not have heard of the Finnish motorcycle company, Verge, but it appears it’s a company wanting to push the boundaries of design and functionality within the motorcycle industry.

Unique Integrated Rim Motor
Creating 80 kW and 1000 Nm of torque, The motor is an industry first, fully integrated electric motor. No chains, no oils, and minimal maintenance creates an experience un-seen until now. And because there’s no chain, belt, or gearbox to sap power, Verge say, it’s a hugely efficient way of propelling the bike and changing the tyre is no harder than on any other design. Seamless power with nothing to think about than the road ahead. With a top speed of 180kph and 0-100kph in under 4 seconds, this is an electric experience that is truly unique.
Custom Battery Pack
The TS is not just about futuristic looks, the custom made battery pack offers 200-300 km of carefree riding, depending on riding style. With regards to charging it’s just as fast as the bike too. Using a DC charger, 15 minutes of charging will get you 100km of range. Our onboard charger allows riders to fully charge in just over 4 hours.
Frame design
We design our motorcycles to be electric from the ground up. The lightweight, reinforced aluminium frame can accommodate our large battery while keeping the overall weight of the bike lower than you think. Not to mention our very low centre of gravity.

The company is expecting to release the Verge TS before the end of the year and is taking preorders now. The preorder price is €29,990 ( $40,417AUD ) and at present, there is no information if the brand will offer it in Australia.
